The Badlands Hotel
The Badlands Hotel is located on the Boardwalk in Old Town Lajitas. The Badlands features 15 standard rooms, plus the Clay Henry Suite, named in honor of the town’s mayor—who just happens to be a goat, which can be reserved as a one or two bedroom suite. All rooms in the Badlands Hotel are located on the 2nd floor, there are no elevators on property. Please note the balconies in The Badlands are not accessible. These rooms are not pet friendly.

Cavalry Post
Built on the historic site of a remote U.S. military outpost commanded by General John J. “Black Jack” Pershing, the Cavalry Post rooms are individually decorated to reflect various rustic Old West influences. These rooms are in a single story building, surrounding a lovely courtyard and fountain. These rooms are pet friendly.

Officer’s Quarters
The Officer’s Quarters are located at the end of the main boardwalk. These rooms have been recentely remodeled, and feature an outdoor private terrace or shared balcony. Views overlooking either Black Jack’s Crossing Golf Course or a secluded garden walking path with a relaxing waterfall. Streaming available on TV. May be first or second floor, no elevators on property. These rooms are not pet friendly.
Deluxe Single King rooms

Features a King bed, bathroom with oversized walk-in shower, and shared balcony. Second floor only.
Deluxe Single King Junior Suites

Lakeside Cottages
These 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom cottages are located off the pro-shop path; next to a man-made lake, with stunning mountain view from backyard patio. Each bedroom features two King size beds, for a total of four King beds in each Cottage. Also featuring a modern full kitchen, living room, and dining area. Each Cottage sleeps 8 guests and are not pet friendly.

Whole Condo: 8,742 sq.ft.
Boardwalk Condos
Located across from the main hotel lobby, our Boardwalk Condos are privately owned and rented at a 2-night minimum. These 2 bedroom condominiums have 3 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable living and dining room. Plush bathrobes and slippers provided to enhance experience. Each room has a fireplace, and access to an outdoor seating area on balcony or patio and individually are decorated with charming southwestern décor. The master bedroom features a single King bed, the secondary bedroom features two Queen beds, and a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room area of the unit. One Each Condo sleeps 6, up to 8 – when utilizing sleeper sofa.

New! This cottage is located on property near Black Jack’s Crossing. There are two bedrooms and two full baths. Master bedroom has a king bed with bathroom attatched. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and bathroom located in hallway next to the bedroom. The living room has a pullout sleeper sofa. With all the comforts of home, this house includes a full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, coffee makers (Keurig and drip coffee, dishwasher, and smart tv. The backyard features outdoor seating, a small fire pit as well as a propane grill. Lajitas Casita sleeps 4, up to 6 – if utilizing sleeper sofa – and is not pet friendly.
Casa de Rio Vista House
This cottage is located on property near Black Jack’s Crossing. There are two bedrooms and two full baths. Master bedroom has a king bed and second bedroom has a Queen bed. The living room has a pullout sleeper sofa in the sectional. With all the comforts of home, this house includes a full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, coffee makers, dishwasher, and DISH satellite TV. The backyard features outdoor seating, a small fire pit as well as a gas grill. Casa de Rio Vista sleeps 4, up to 6 – if utilizing sleeper sofa – and is not pet friendly.
Ambush Cottage
This cottage is located above the resort with a breathtaking view of the second hole at Black Jack’s Crossing Golf course. The Villa has two-bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms The master bedroom features a king bed, and a sunken tub. The secondary bedroom has a queen bed. With all of the comforts of home your villa includes a full kitchen, dining room, fireplace, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a screened porch with access to outdoor fire pit and spectacular sunset views. Newly installed wrap around fence. The Ambush Cottage sleeps 4 and is pet friendly.
The Ranch House
New! Experience the beauty of West Texas from this stunning 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home located on Comanche Mesa, offering sweeping mountain views and a scenic overlook of Black Jack’s Crossing Golf Course. The primary suite is located in the west wing of the home and features a walk-in shower and double vanity bathroom. Two guest bedrooms are located in the east wing, each furnished with a queen-size bed and an attached bathroom for added comfort and privacy. The home’s inviting living area includes a dining table for six, comfortable seating, and a wet bar, all framed by wide-open views of the outdoor patio. The patio is designed for relaxing and entertaining, featuring a fire pit seating area, a shaded table and chairs, additional outdoor lounge seating, horseshoes, and a smoker for guests to enjoy. Perfect for families, golf groups, or guests looking for a spacious private retreat with unforgettable desert and mountain views. The Ranch House sleeps 6 and is not pet friendly.
Casa Paloma
Casa Paloma, located in the Comanche Mesa, a 1,856 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths overlooks several holes of the front nine of our award winning Black Jack’s Crossing golf course, and offers vistas of the Big Bend National Park mountain range in the distance.
The master bedroom suite has a king bed and each of the 2 additional bedrooms have queen beds, each of the 3 bathrooms have walk-in showers. There is a small patio in the back with a propane grill and a fire pit for spending a relaxing evening outdoors. The home features a fully equipped kitchen along with a Keurig coffee maker that provides both options for K-Cup or drip. The Casa Paloma house sleeps 6 and is not pet friendly.
Lajitas Villa (Pedraza House)
Located in Comanche Mesa, the three-bedroom, three bath Lajitas Villa is a 2,485 square foot cottage facing the magnificent Lajitas Mesa. A great room with fireplace, full kitchen, dining room, and breakfast nook offers plentiful space for a group or large family. The beautiful master suite includes a king bed, fireplace and bath with a Jacuzzi tub. The Villa’s guest room includes a double bed. Its guest cottage is located in a separate building and has a double bed, and full bathroom. The spacious wrap- around patio is complete with a grill and outdoor furniture; offering one of the most spectacular sunset views. With all of the comforts of home including a microwave, downdraft cooktop, double oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, trash compactor, and washer/dryer. This gorgeous villa sleeps 6 people and is not pet friendly.
Hacienda Escondida
Hacienda Escondida, located in Comanche Mesa, a 2650 square foot home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths has views and private courtyard areas that are reminiscent of the old Mexican Haciendas with a rustic modern twist. Multiple outdoor courtyard living areas provide for grilling or smoking meats, dining on the porch, sitting by the marvelous fountain and fire pit as well as watching the magical sunset over the Sierra del Carmen mountains. The Master Bedroom Suite has a King Size Bed, a walk-in closet, expansive shower with a Rain Shower head and hand shower. The Master and one of the guest rooms open to the covered porch. One guest room has a Queen size bed and the other a Full/Double Size Bed. The guest rooms share a bath with a shower/tub. Televisions with Dish network are in the Great Room and each bedroom. Netflix is available in the Great Room. This house sleeps 6 is not pet friendly.
Amigos House
This cottage is located above the resort with a panoramic view of the golf course. The Villa has three-bedrooms and three baths. A sunroom with fireplace and family dining table that seats up to 12 people overlooks the Mountains and the Rio Grande River. Master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a Queen bed, 3rd bedroom has two queen bed and a real shuffleboard table. With all of the comforts of home your villa includes a full kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, full washer and dryer. Front patio has propane grill and smoker. Enjoy your evenings by the outdoor fire pit overlooking the spectacular sunset views! The Amigos House sleeps 8 and is not pet friendly.
Lajitas Lookout
Located in Comanche Mesa, this quaint three bedroom, three bath villa directly overlooks magnificent Lajitas Mesa. A great room full kitchen and breakfast nook offers the perfect getaway for families. The Villa includes a master bedroom with a king bed and an oversized living area, the second bedroom has 3 beds (1 queen bed and 2 are bunk over bunk beds) and the third bedroom features a queen sized bed. The wrap-around patio offers spectacular panoramic views of the area as well as a great sitting area to relax. Your villa provides you with all of the comforts of home including full kitchen, dining room, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The Lajitas Lookout sleeps 8 adults – up to 10 guests if including children – and is pet friendly.
Buena Vista
This villa completed in 2024 is located in Comanche Mesa and features a stunning panoramic view of the golf course and Mesa de Anguila. The Villa is 3,500 square feet and has four bedrooms and four and 1/2 baths with a great room with dining table for 8 and fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor patio is 1,500 square feet with a turf patio and features an outdoor propane grill. Each bedroom has a king bed, its own bathroom and patio with gorgeous views. The master bedroom has a large walk-in shower, the first standard size bedroom has a tub/shower combo, and the remaining two rooms each have walk in showers. There is a 12 cup drip coffee maker and the home is equipped with a Generac generator in the event of power outages, & fiber Wi-Fi. The Villa Buena Vista sleeps 8 and is not pet friendly.
