Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa- The Resort Oasis in the Big Bend of the Rio Grande in West Texas
Help Wanted Now – Laundry room attendant/housekeeper, Dishwasher, Golf Maintenance Our resort oasis is located on 26,000 acres of private land between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park in Lajitas, Texas, a stone’s throw from the Rio Grande River and the border to Mexico. It is a wild, rugged and beautiful desert country full of natural wonders. We operate a world-class golf course, spa, hotel, restaurant, RV Park, two guest pools, equestrian center, private airport and we offer an assortment of guest activities.
Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa offers discounted employee housing which includes propane, water, sewage, garbage (does not include telephone, cable; WiFi is available). Housing is individual occupancy, not dorm style unless you want to share housing with someone you know. Housing comes with all appliances, AC, and a bed but otherwise is unfurnished. Rent is payroll deducted bi-weekly and rates range $42.50 to $172.40 and employees who bring and live in their own RV's are offered sites in the RV Park for $75.00 per pay-period (this includes basic utility hook-ups). We provide 50% company paid electricity, direct deposit, optional affordable Indemnity insurance for hourly staff or group health for management staff. Eligible staff are offered paid time off after 6 months of full-time employment. Employees can receive discounts for resort activities, retail, hotel rooms, and in the restaurant; we provide one free employee meal Mon-Friday 11:30-1:00 pm in the Breakaway dining room; free employee laundry and employee swimming pool facilities, one as-needed weekly employee shuttle, and other paid time off benefits for full time staff available 90 days after employment.
Department managers conduct scheduled telephone and/or Skype interviews with qualified applicants. We have several steps in our hiring process which include background checks, employment verification and pre-employment drug screening. Some positions are year-round and some may be one season, a lot depends on you too!
