Christina's World

Long Horn Museum

Houses longhorn collection of Fayette Yates. The collection, the world's largest private collection in the United States, is housed and displayed at the historic Lajitas Trading Post at Black Jack's Crossing Golf Course.

General Store and Deli

Located ¼ mile from the Boardwalk shops, the Lajitas General Store provides basic groceries, necessities and sundries. Guests participating in day excursions, such as hiking, biking and hunting, can order prepared boxed lunches from our General Store, complete with fresh deli sandwiches.

Terlingua Trading Company

Located at Terlingua Ghost Town, 14 miles east of Lajitas and carries the largest selection of local books, teas, and gifts in south Brewster County, and has a colorful selection of sauces and salsas, chili seasonings and condiments sure to 'fire-up' your latent Chili-head.

The Mosasaurs Museum

Located 6 miles East of Lajitas. Take a journey "back in time" up to more than 100 million years and observe some of the magnificent creatures that lived in the seas and on the shores of West Texas in the ancient past. See fossils on display of Dinosaurs, Mosasaurs, Ancient Shark Teeth, primeval clams, and much more. Perfect for student groups to arrange a visit to a dig site with an experienced "hands-on" Paleontologist / Geologist as their host and mentor. Tour groups can arrange a visit to the Museum and a short, ( 1/4 mile round trip ), hike to some dig sites of Mosasaurs etc. with talks about the local geology. These tours are about 1 hour long.
