Surrounded by greater than 1 million acres of conservation land, Lajitas and the Big Bend region are ideal for mountain biking enthusiasts of all skill levels. Guests can make arrangements for bike rentals and guided mountain biking tours through the Red Rock Outfitters Activity Desk.
Lajitas Short Ride
An energizing two-hour mountain biking expedition, the Lajitas Short Ride allows you to enjoy the beautiful countryside and experience the essence of this rough and tantalizing desert.
Lajitas Long Ride
A more advanced or expert rider will enjoy the three or four hour Lajitas Long Ride, to experience the vast, rugged Lajitas terrain while enjoying the surrounding beauty.
Big Bend National Park Ride
The exhilarating all day Big Bend National Park Ride incorporates the challenge of biking through steep, rugged terrain, while viewing some of the most stunning flora and fauna along the way. A full lunch will be provided during this exciting adventure through the Big Bend. Following are some suggestions:
Glen Springs Road to Pine Canyon
This difficult mountain biking adventure is 42 miles round trip.
