Hunting Guidlines

Lajitas Golf Resort, Equestrian Center, and Hunt Club all abide by the laws and regulations for hunting in the state of Texas.  For more information, please visit http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/huntwild/.

All hunters are responsible for their own hunting licenses.

You may bring your own gun and or weapon or we can provide them for you at an additional charge.

All hunts are booked on a first come - first serve basis.

Reservations made without a deposit will be held for 10 days and then released.

A 50% non refundable deposit is required to book hunts. Balances are due 30 days prior to your hunt.

ALL deposits are non refundable unless hunter can be replaced at full price. It is not Lajitas' obligation to replace hunter in the event that a cancellation takes place.

On our hunts, Lajitas strictly enforces a "wounded animal policy". This simply means that if an animal is hit or blood is drawn, it's yours.

Drinking is prohibited while hunting. After all firearms are put away for the day, the bar is open.

A "day" is any two of the three hunting sessions we offer per 24 hours, those being; 3 hours in the morning; or the three hours just before dark; or the three hours after dark. You may opt to hunt all three sessions.

Kid's 14 and under pay half of the adult rates shown above for package hunts IF they sit with an adult the entire time.  If they hunt, they pay full rate.  When youth discounts are applied, the adults pay based on the number of adults and not the number of persons total.
