Welcome to the Premier Choice in West Texas Golf Resorts, Black Jack's Crossing at Lajitas Golf Resort…
The 18-hole championship Black Jack's Crossing Golf Course at Lajitas has been masterfully designed by professional golfer, Lanny Wadkins. Several breathtaking mountain holes set against spectacular mountain vistas make this course a true work of art.
Named after U.S. Army General, "Black Jack" Pershing who pursued Pancho Villa across the Rio Grande, the golf course combines the historical features of the land with the stunning setting among the Big Bend National and State Parks.
This beautiful par 72 semi-private golf course features a 500 yard driving range with 25 practice stations, 5,000 square foot putting green, short game practice facility, and a state-of-the-art GPS system. The old Lajitas Trading Post (ca. 1800's), having survived the battles of Pershing, has been repurposed as the Pro Shop and Longhorn Museum.
On May 27th, we will start airifying our greens. At that time, we will have at least 9 holes open each day.
